These empty nesters with three grown children approached Horizon Interior Design ready to move onto the next phase of their home renovations after completing other projects with us to update their home. The renovations included updates to the kitchen and the master bedroom and bathroom.
They chose to keep the original flooring but wanted to incorporate additional seating, more lighting and new appliances in the kitchen. In the master bathroom and bedroom they wanted to update their furniture to create a space to relax at the end of the day and wanted a larger shower in their bathroom. The clients wanted to create a space that was not only pretty but also relaxing with soft pops of colors against a pastel color palette.
The kitchen received a complete remodel with updated appliances, countertops, lighting and window treatments. Porcelain tile and a custom hood elevated this space while additional seating gave this couple the comfort and functionality they were seeking. The couple chose to keep their bed but the rest of the master bedroom received all new furnishings to create a place to retreat to at the end of each day. The master bathroom was updated with a large walk-in shower with seating, beautiful new flooring with pattern for interest and new countertops, mirrors and lighting. A vanity area was also added to add luxury and elegance to this master suite remodel.
